J'étais parti pour le LS1, qui m'a l'air sain également. Il a 7 brins, contre 14 pour ton ex LS3. Mais j'ai besoin de 2x6m, d'où ma réticence à aller vers des cables chers !

Hello.

First of all i dont know how some people does blind test (perhaps drunk test)...
I have a mimetism 15.2 with a classe cdp 102 and a nautilus 804. I am thinking in changing the speakers.
Which speakers would fit? I am thinking in vienna mahler in future

I am not a seller (in fact i have mine) but i know an offer of new 15.2 +20.1 for 4500 euros.

It depends of what kind of music you like?
Vienna is not enought all-around for me. I listen for several type of music, from baroque to hard rock, with electro to rap and Jazz.
I remember a catastrophic listening with the BBG and Mozart :cry:

I listen jazz and progressive rock

I am tired of N804, i have lately listened Proac (big ones), Duntech, and whow
Mids are completely different

Another speakers i want to listen is AudioPhysic Virgo or Avanti

Sorry but i was very excited about this brand before listening it!!! :roll:

The B&W is a pretty neutral speaker and many brands color the medium of their speaker. When you add harmonics with a less rigorous speaker, you add musicality, as the valve does on transistor amps...
The BBG has no qualities for me, the mozart was better but still in a bad way. I did the same thing on my DIY speaker. I changed The magnesium SEAS speaker for the similar speaker in Nextel technology, less rigorous but more liquid, more charming. All it's compromise in Hifi but you have to find the right balance between harmonics and sharpness... :wink:

I am planning to sell my integrated Mimetism 15.2 or preferably changing it for the Mimetism 45.2 poweramp.

If anybody interested please send me a mail. 26 months old, perfect and out of warranty.

Anyone has 45.2?
