voici un reglage utilisable avec la PS3 !
Firstly I set the PS3 up with the following set-up for all testes unless otherwise stated.
Video Output - Y pb/cb pr/cr
Cross Color Filter - Off
RGB - limited
Super White - On
Okay firstly I setup the following setting on the TV before starting the calibration with the color bars. These I have mostly taken from other recommendations and common knowledge.
Mode - Movie
Backlight - 6
Black Adj - Off
Dynamic contrast - Off
Gamma - 0
Color Space - Native
White Balance - All 25
Flesh - 0
Edge Enhance - Off
Xvycc - On
Colour Tone - Normal (Don't like the yellow tinge of warm)
Size - Just Scan
DNR - Off
100Hz - Off/Low
Blue - Off
Using the color bars I then got the remaining settings as follows.
Contrast - 100 (I got this using the THX and I can see the 4 squares all the way to 100??)
Brightness - 45 (using the three black bars for below black)
Sharpness - 0 (using the second Sony picture for calibration)
Color - 53 (using Blue only and match the blues on the 2 outer color bars)
Tint (using Blue only and match the blues on the inner 2 color bars.
I am quite happy with these setting (I have also tried HDTV setting) I I will leave them like this for Blurays.
I then done some experimenting with some different setting to see their effect.
PS3 Cross color Filter On - No change to settings
PS3 Super White Off - Cannot get below Black levels and is more difficult to set brightness. All else the same.
PS3 60Hz - No Change
PS3 720P - No Change
PS3 RGB Limited - No below black Possible. All else the same.
Ps3 RGB Full - Brightness set to 60 all else the same.
I then noticed that when the PS3 changes from RGB to Y pb/cb pr/cr the brightness also changed from 45 to 60 automatically, even though it is still hdmi1. Because of this I have now set the PS3 Video output to Auto and RGB to Full.
