The new 42PFL9803 with Perfect Pixel HD Engine solves two of the most critical challenges in current LCD TV technology: black level and motion blur. Thanks to its genius LED backlight, featuring 2D Dimming control over 128 individual areas, the 42PFL9803’s black level can now compete with the best plasma-TV sets. The Clear LCD 100Hz technology, meanwhile, reproduces crystal-pure images that are also naturally fluid thanks to Philips’s extremely sophisticated motion compensation algorithm. C'est tout ce qu'il ya de plus raisonnable vu la technologie embarquée.

contraste dynamique de 2 000 000:1
traitement des couleurs (RVB 17 bits) sur 2 250 milliards (ou trillions chez eux)
1080p sur 50, 60, 24 Hz (normal quoi) mais aussi sur 25 et 30p

Non, il n'est pas encore parfait pour moi car il ne fait pas 47 pouces et il est cher mais à part ça, il m'interesse fortement

En plus, il a l'air d'avoir une conso réduite : 204W.

What makes a product eligible for nomination ?

All products to be awarded - with the exception of those awarded in Innovation and Design categories - must have been available for detailed test evaluation for the magazines in each Panel concerned. Latest and brand new products will only be accepted if they have been available for detailed testing before 1 June (latest delay) by at least 5 member magazines of the Panel concerned.

In addition, awarded products must also be for sale to the general public no later than 10 September in the year of the Awards in at least 10 European countries.
